Why Fix My City exists
Reporting a pothole in Bengaluru usually means finding the right office, the right person and the right email address - and then never hearing back. Fix My City does the first part in a few taps and makes the second part public.
What it does
- You photograph a problem. The app attaches the location and time, works out which office is responsible, and emails it to them.
- Every sent complaint appears on a public map, without the name of the person who reported it.
- When the reporter marks a complaint fixed, it turns green, so anyone can see what gets fixed and how fast.
Who is behind it
Fix My City is an independent citizen initiative, built in Bengaluru. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run by any government body.
